We are thrilled to announce that our recent Golf Day at Stratford-upon-Avon Golf Club was a resounding success, raising just under £8,000 for vulnerable families living in South Warwickshire!
A huge thank you to our generous sponsor, NFU Mutual Central South Warwickshire & Pershore, for their invaluable support in making the day possible. Their contribution was instrumental to the event's success, and we are delighted to share that their team also took home the winning prize!
We were joined by 14 teams from a variety of local businesses, including Graf UK, Nest Studios, NFU Corporate, SM Plastering, D Hill Glazing, and many friends of the charity.
Despite a slightly damp start, the rain held off, and the sun even made a welcome appearance for the latter part of the day, ensuring everyone had a fantastic time.
Adding to the excitement, we hosted a 'Beat the Pro' competition where teams competed against professional golfer Julian Dodsworth. An impressive four golfers managed to beat Julian to the flag and very generously returned their winnings back to the charity. We are incredibly grateful for their sportsmanship and generosity.
The event was further enhanced by a fantastic raffle, with prizes including a four-ball at Ladbrook Park Golf Club, a thrilling discovery flight from Wellesbourne Airfield, and a unique item of bespoke knitwear from Clements & Church. Our live auction also proved to be a highlight, hosted by James Wootton from Northampton Saints; with incredible prizes donated by Northampton Saints Rugby Club, Ben Pauling Racing, Hill Farm Glamping, and Honesbesrie Shooting.

The funds raised from this event will make a significant difference to the lives of families in our community, providing them with the support they need to overcome challenges and build brighter futures.
